Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and provision of travel-planning and itinerary-design services offered by Wonder Awaits.
1. About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and provision of travel-planning and itinerary-design services offered by Wonder Awaits.
By purchasing a service from Wonder Awaits, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions before payment.
These Terms apply to all services provided by Wonder Awaits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. About Wonder Awaits
Wonder Awaits is an independent travel-planning business based in France.
Wonder Awaits provides personalised travel-planning, itinerary-design, destination-research and travel-advice services.
Wonder Awaits does not operate as a booking intermediary and does not book, sell or resell flights, accommodation, transport, activities or other travel services on behalf of clients.
Clients remain responsible for booking and paying third-party travel providers directly.
3. Services
Wonder Awaits currently offers three main travel-planning services:
Check & Boost
A review of an itinerary already created by the client, including recommendations on what to keep, change, add or pay particular attention to.
The Wonder Essentials
A travel-planning service designed to provide the client with the essential foundations for their trip, including route guidance, recommended areas to stay, key experiences, curated recommendations and practical travel information.
The Wonder Journey
A fully personalised travel-planning service including a detailed day-by-day itinerary, curated accommodation and experience recommendations, practical travel guidance, a personalised Travel Book and Wonder Map.
The precise scope of each service is described on the Wonder Awaits website and may also be confirmed in writing before payment.
Additional or unusually complex requests may be subject to a personalised quotation.
4. How the booking process works
The booking process may vary depending on the service selected.
Clients first submit information about their trip through the Wonder Awaits enquiry or qualification form.
For Check & Boost and The Wonder Essentials, Wonder Awaits reviews the request and confirms the appropriate service, scope, price and next steps before payment.
For The Wonder Journey, the process may include a Discovery Call before the service and price are confirmed.
Once the service has been confirmed, the client receives a Stripe invoice containing the agreed service and amount.
The booking becomes confirmed once full payment has been received, subject to the provisions concerning the statutory right of withdrawal described below.
Wonder Awaits may decline a request before payment where the requested trip, timeframe or scope cannot reasonably be accommodated.
5. Prices
The prices applicable to Wonder Awaits services are those displayed on the website or communicated to the client in writing before payment.
Prices are expressed in euros (€).
Wonder Awaits currently offers fixed pricing according to the selected service and trip duration. Where a request falls outside the standard pricing structure, including particularly long, complex or unusual projects, Wonder Awaits may provide a personalised quotation.
The price confirmed before payment covers only the scope of work expressly included in the selected service.
Any additional service or substantial request falling outside the agreed scope may be subject to an additional quotation, which must be accepted by the client before the additional work begins.
6. Payment
Payment is made through a secure Stripe invoice issued by Wonder Awaits.
The client may use any payment method made available by Stripe and shown as eligible on the Hosted Invoice Page at the time of payment. Available payment methods may vary depending on the client’s country, currency and eligibility.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in full before Wonder Awaits begins the travel-planning service.
Invoices are generally payable within seven (7) days of issue.
Wonder Awaits does not have access to the client’s full payment-card details. Payment processing is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices.
A booking is considered financially confirmed only once payment has been successfully received.
7. Start of the Service and Delivery Timelines
The service begins only once:
-
full payment has been received;
-
the client has provided all information reasonably required by Wonder Awaits to begin the work; and
-
where applicable, the client has completed the relevant Travel Brief or other requested questionnaire.
For The Wonder Journey, the process may also include completion of a Discovery Call and validation of a preliminary itinerary before detailed research and planning begin.
The expected delivery timeline is communicated to the client before or at the time the service is confirmed.
Any delivery date or estimated timeframe assumes that the client provides the requested information, feedback and approvals within a reasonable time.
If information or feedback required from the client is delayed, the delivery schedule may be adjusted accordingly.
Wonder Awaits will inform the client as soon as reasonably possible if an unforeseen circumstance affects the agreed delivery timeline.
9. Changes to the Project
The client may request changes during the planning process.
Minor adjustments that remain within the agreed scope of the selected service may be included at Wonder Awaits’ discretion.
Requests that materially change the agreed project may require an additional quotation. This may include, for example:
-
changing the destination;
-
substantially changing the travel dates;
-
extending the trip;
-
adding travellers with different requirements;
-
significantly changing the agreed travel style or budget;
-
requesting additional research or planning beyond the selected service.
Wonder Awaits will inform the client before carrying out any work that would result in an additional charge.
No additional paid work will be carried out without the client’s prior agreement.
10. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen (14) days from the date the contract is concluded, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the client must inform Wonder Awaits of their decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement sent before the end of the fourteen-day period.
A model withdrawal form will be made available to the client in accordance with applicable French consumer law.
If the client wishes Wonder Awaits to begin providing the service before the end of the fourteen-day withdrawal period, the client must expressly request that performance begins early.
Where the client has expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period and subsequently exercises their right of withdrawal before the service has been fully performed, the client must pay an amount corresponding to the proportion of the service already provided up to the date on which Wonder Awaits is informed of the withdrawal.
Where the service has been fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, the client will lose the right of withdrawal only where they expressly agreed to the early performance of the service and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the service had been fully performed.
11. Cancellation After the Withdrawal Period
Once the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the client may still request cancellation of the service by contacting Wonder Awaits in writing.
Where work has already begun, Wonder Awaits will stop the service as soon as reasonably possible following receipt of the cancellation request.
Any refund will be calculated according to the part of the service that has not yet been performed. Work already completed, research already carried out, documents already prepared and deliverables already provided are not refundable.
If the service has already been fully performed, no refund will be due.
Where appropriate, Wonder Awaits will provide the client with a reasonable explanation of the work already completed and the amount retained.
12. Third-Party Travel Providers
Wonder Awaits provides travel-planning and itinerary-design services only and is not a party to contracts concluded between the client and third-party travel providers.
The client books and pays directly for flights, accommodation, transportation, activities, restaurants and any other travel services with the relevant third-party providers.
Any booking made by the client is subject to the terms, conditions, cancellation policies and availability of the relevant third-party provider.
Wonder Awaits may provide links, recommendations, indicative prices, opening hours, availability information or other practical information based on research carried out at the time of preparation. Such information may change after it has been researched.
The client is responsible for checking the final price, availability, opening hours, cancellation conditions and any other relevant information directly with the provider before making a booking or travelling.
Wonder Awaits is not responsible for the acts, omissions, cancellations, delays, price changes, service failures or other decisions of third-party travel providers.
13. Liability
Wonder Awaits undertakes to provide its travel-planning services with reasonable care and diligence and in accordance with the scope agreed with the client.
Wonder Awaits remains responsible for the proper performance of its own consulting and itinerary-design services in accordance with applicable law.
Wonder Awaits cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
-
changes made by airlines, hotels, transport operators or activity providers;
-
closures, strikes, weather conditions, natural events or public authority decisions;
-
changes to prices, timetables, entry requirements or local regulations occurring after the information was researched;
-
the client’s failure to make or confirm a booking;
-
inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
Recommendations provided by Wonder Awaits are based on the information reasonably available at the time of research and on the preferences communicated by the client.
The client remains responsible for making final travel decisions and for checking official requirements relating to passports, visas, health requirements, insurance, entry conditions and other administrative formalities.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Intellectual Property
All documents, travel plans, itineraries, Travel Books, Wonder Maps, written recommendations, research, layouts and other materials created by Wonder Awaits as part of the service remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Once full payment has been received, the client is granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the deliverables provided by Wonder Awaits solely for their own private travel purposes.
The client may not reproduce, publish, sell, distribute, commercially exploit or make the deliverables available to third parties without the prior written consent of Wonder Awaits.
The client may share relevant extracts of their itinerary with people travelling as part of the same trip where reasonably necessary for the organisation of that trip.
Third-party content, photographs, maps, trademarks, links and other materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.
